Amazon and Best Buy are now accepting pre-orders for the various Google Chrome Books. At the moment, models from Samsung and Acer are available for pre-order and each have a shipping date of 15 June according to Google.
The Samsung Chromebook is called the Series 5 and there are four versions available although each based around one of two models. There's the 3G model that costs $499 that is available in Arctic White and in Titan Silver. The WiFi version also comes in the same two colour options, Arctic White here and Titan Silver here. The WiFi models cost $429.99 each and the 3G models are $499.99 each. Remember that you need connectivity to the internet to be able to use Chrome OS, so if you can't tether from a smartphone while on the move, you might be best opting for the 3G model.
There are also two Acer models which are the same 3G and Wireless models. The 3G model costs $449.99 and is available here while the Wireless only model is the cheapest of all Chrome OS netbooks and costs $379.99, available here.
Technical specs of each model show that the Samsung Series 5 has a 12.1 inch screen that has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It has 8.5 hours of battery life per charge, uses an Intel Atom Dual-Core processor, has a HD webcam and a full sized keyboard.
The Acer models are a little different in that they have a slightly smaller 11.6 inch HD display. Battery life is lower at 6 hours. This particular model runs the Intel Atom Dual-Core CPU. A HD webcam is included and it has a full sized keyboard.

Now what do we have here? It's the new Dell Duo, which looks like a normal 10-inch netbook until you notice that the screen rotates around to turn it into a tablet. You simply swivel it around within its frame to make the transformation. It's certainly one of the more interesting computer designs we've seen in a while.

Review: Dell Adamo XPS

Dell has officially announced pricing and other details for the Dell Adamo XPS laptop. Without setting a specific date, Dell says that it has begin taking orders and shipping the Adamo XPS in time for the holidays. The ultrathin luxury laptop starts at $1,799.

Here its Kohjinsha, a dual screen notbook with two 10.1-inch LCDs each capable of outputting at 1024 x 600 and 1366 x 768 resolution. It is with sliding mechansim to hide it's monitor. It can power DirectX 10-compatible with AMD Athlon MV-40, along with a 2.5-inch SATA HDD, up to 4GB DDR2 memory, and Windows 7 Home Premium. Its height is about 1.7 inches at its tallest and 0.75 inches at its shortest.It it's price or release date is not yet mentioned.

Dell's New Inspiron series laptop "Nickelodeon" is now available in market with starting price of $329. The laptop is made for your kids which have Intel Atom Processor (1.6 GHz), the Windows installed on the laptop is XP Home Edition. The laptop has 1 GB DDR2 memory and 160 GB Sata Hard Drive. It is equipped with Intel 945 GSE Graphic Card, the display is 1024 x 600 WSVGA. It also have internal speakers of 2 x 1.0W and 3 Cell battery. It also have 1.3 Mega pixel webcam and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth installed.

Outside the gadgets it has 2 usb ports 3 in 1 card reader VGA connector and Ethernet. As similar to other laptops it only supports External optical drives and has 1 Line out and 1 Mic in ports. The starting weight is 2.5 lbs.

HP made this Laptop but it is not equipped with as much power as with Alien Ware M17x.

Dell Inspiron 14 is equipped with 14.1 inch Screen Size with 1.1-1.3 inch height. The price for the laptop starts from $449, it has 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 Processor and 3GB DDR3 Ram with 250GB 5400 rpm pf Hard disk. For Graphics Intel GMA 4500MHD is installed and the laptop supports Windows Vista Home Premium. The dimensions are 13.4 x 9.5, the bad thing about the laptop is that it has weak battery and the good point is that it has decent keyboard, touch pad and 15 months antivirus subscription included.

Toshiba has launched it's new multimedia Tablet which has 1GB of internal fixed in memory and have expandable memory which is supported by SD card slot. The tablet has Wi-Fi in it and similarly like iPhone it has applications on its home screen.

Dell launches two new thin Laptops 14z and 15z. These laptops are lighter than other versions and both have wide screen of 366x768 and have intel core 2 solo processors which offers much of battery saving advantage similar as Intel Atom.


Both models are one inch think and have upto 500GB hardrives. They include DVD drive and support Wi-fi and Mobile Boradband. Battery timings is from 4 hours to 8 hours and these batteries are 80% charged in 60 minutes.

The newly launched Samsung X120 Notebook seems to be cheap plastic but arent the same as seems to be. They can support human weight. These notebook supports multi touch system. It allows users to connect to wireless internet on the go just because it has 3G HSPA wireless broadband.
