Microsoft was the first company to make 720p webcam but now it's not the only one. Hercules also release it's 720p webcam with HD video resolution with 1280 x 720 resolution at 30 frames per second with 16/9 format.
For photos it have 5 megapixel camera and 1 megapixel for quality images in low light. There is also a built-in microphone with it for great sound quality. There is also a autofocus lens allowing wide viewing angle.
It uses USB 2.0 with driverless installation for XP, Vista and Windows 7. Hercules Dualpix 720p will be out next month for 60$.
