What do we know right now? It could be called Google Me, appear as early as this fall, and Google is hoping Facebook well aid in its own destruction.
At the Google Zeitgeist conference this week in Arizon, Schmidt himself very casually proposed the following scenario: "The best thing that would happen is for Facebook to open up its data," adding that even if the social network didn't do that for Google, the company had other plans in place.

Samsung seems to be on a roll these days with its Android phones. Soon after releasing its Galaxy S, Beam and the mid-range Galaxy 3 and 5, the company has announced its new Android-based device in Korea, the Galaxy U (SHW-M130L).
The phone is basically a slightly modded Galaxy S for the Korea. The AMOLED screen on the Galaxy U has the same resolution as the Galaxy S - 480 x 800 pixels with support for 16M colors. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and support for 720p HD video recording.
HTC and Google have been creating smartphones together for some time now. One of their newest handsets is the EVO 4G for Sprint. Not only does this device pack a 1 GHz processor, a 4.3" touchscreen, Android 2.2, two cameras (one for photos and video; the other for video chat) and a kickstand, but it's also the world's first smartphone to use 4G data service. Also, the EVO 4G can be used as a mobile hotspot for up to 8 WiFi enabled devices! All of this can be yours for $200 with a 2-year contract.
Apple busted into the tablet market with the iPad and now the competitors readying their offerings. Bloomberg is the latest to report that BlackBerry maker RIM is working on a tablet many believe will be called the "Blackpad."
Naturally, details are scarce, but the device is said to have roughly the same dimensions as the iPad, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and some sort of tethering option that would allow users to tap into their BlackBerry smartphones to connect to the Internet.
